Alginate is a very rapid rubber like material. It comes in powder form and when mixed at around 100g powder with 275-300ml water it sets to a highly detailed mould. This happens in only 4 minutes and so its ideal for taking body casts. It is none toxic. Bag size 450gm. opened bags should be stored in an airtight container.
